Navigation

Before setting off, scan the QR code to access the route description and download the GPS track. Choose the route according to your fitness level and, if you are walking with children, opt for wide and protected paths.

To follow our routes, we recommend using one of these two apps. Both allow you to navigate with precision, but work differently when there is no signal.

Outdooractive

  1. Download the app: iPhone | Android
  2. Account: Create a profile or log in with your social accounts.
  3. Offline use: Viewing maps without internet coverage is a feature reserved for Pro users (paid). If you use the free version, make sure you have signal or check the map carefully before setting off.

Komoot

  1. Download the app: iPhone | Android
  2. Account: When signing up, the app usually lets you redeem a free region (for example "Verona and Lake Garda").
  3. Offline use: Once your free region is unlocked, activate the "Available offline" toggle within the route. This will allow you to navigate even without a data connection.

How to use the GPX track

If you use a sports watch or a dedicated GPS device:

  • Download the GPS track from the route page.
  • Save the file and import it to your device. The track will guide you along the route line on the map.

Reminder: GPS consumes a lot of energy. Make sure your phone is fully charged before setting off and consider bringing a power bank for longer outings.

Some useful tips before you set off

The mountains are a living environment that changes quickly. To enjoy your outing in peace, here is how we prepare our hikes.

Equipment and safety

  • Check the weather and plan:
Always check the latest forecasts and share your route with someone. It is a good habit that gives peace of mind to you and those waiting for you.
  • Dress in layers:
The secret to staying comfortable is the "onion system". Bring clothing suited to the season, a waterproof shell and specific trekking shoes with a good sole. If you are on a bike, always wear a helmet and also pack a repair kit and a lock in your bag.
  • What to put in your backpack:
In addition to a good supply of water and food, also bring sun protection, a dry change of clothes and a heavier jacket if you are heading to higher altitudes. A power bank is essential to avoid running out of battery. Try to use it only when necessary – the silence in the mountains is part of the experience.

On the trail

Walk with awareness, respecting the marked routes and the pace of those who are less fit. The mountains demand humility: if your legs give out, the light fades or the weather worsens, turning back is a necessary choice. The trails will still be there, ready to welcome you another time.

Our selection

We have mapped these routes with care, but mountain terrain is unpredictable. If during the hike you notice any issues, damaged paths or unclear signage, write to us at info@360gardalife.com. Your contribution helps the community to get around better.
