Where is the hotel
situated?
We are located northeast of Garda Lake
(Veneto, Province of Verona), at the feet of
Mount Baldo, two kilometres south of the
medieval town of Malcesine, in the peaceful
place called Val di Sogno (Valley of Dreams)
We are not on the road, but directly on the
shores of the lake in via Val di Sogno 16.

nearest airport?
The nearest airports are Verona Valerio
Catullo (58 km) and Montechiari Brescia

What is the nearest
train station?
The nearest train station arriving from the
north is certainly Rovereto (36 km).
If you are coming from the south / east /
west you can choose either Peschiera del
Garda (46 km) and Verona Porta Nuova -
Central Station (60 km).

Is there a shuttle
bus from the airport? And from the train
station?
Yes , from the airports of Verona, Brescia
and Bergamo there is a shuttle bus until the
bus stop in Val di Sogno (about 200 meters
from the hotel).
Instead, from the train stations, it is
better to reserve a taxi. There are also
public buses which can be used.

How far is your
hotel from Gardaland?
The Hotel is located in the north-east
section of the lake, Gardaland is in the
south-east section and is about 35 km away.
How far is the
hotel from Verona? And from Peschiera del
Garda?
The hotel is about 66 km from the centre of
Verona and 43 km from the centre of
Peschiera.
Is the hotel
situated in a quiet location?
Yes, in the quiet bay of Val di Sogno south
of the centre of Malcesine, the ideal place
for a relaxing holiday.
We are not on the main road (Via Gardesana
Eastern), but we are positioned directly on
the shores of the lake, so there are no
roads between the hotel and the beach.
Can you hear the
traffic of the highway?
No, the main street is located behind the
building pointing towards the mountain at an
air-distance of about 50 meters.
Instead, all rooms point towards the lake.
What you hear most is the lapping of the
waves on the beach, birds singing and the
sound of the ducks. Basically, the echo of
nature that surrounds us.
How far is the
centre of Malcesine?
The hotel is located 2 km south of the
historic centre of Malcesine.
You can reach it on foot by taking a
pleasant walk (about 20 to 25 minutes) along
the lakeside (Val di Sogno - Lido Sopri -
lakeside - Via Roma); with the Turistic Bus
service made available by the City of
Malcesine (shuttle bus going every hour in
the morning, late afternoon and evening)
with the public buses number 62 - 64 (daily)
or by car (in 5 minutes).
Are there shops
nearby?
At about 200 meters away on the main road,
there are two grocery stores, a tobacco
shop, two newspaper stands, a green grocer’s,
a rotisserie take-away and a coffee shop
bar.
Are there any sport
centres nearby?
Yes, in the Bay of Val di Sogno there is a
school for water sport activities such as
sailing, windsurfing, kite (150 meters) and
some tennis courts (200 meters).
In Malcesine there is: mini-golf, football
field, basketball and beach volleyball
fields, mountain-bike rent.
To the north of Malcesine there are other
sailing and windsurfing schools, there is a
landing area for paragliding, there is
Sailing Club “Fraglia Vela” (zone Navene)
and a nautical centre with a gym.
How far is the
nearest pharmacy? And the post office?
The nearest pharmacy is located in
Malcesine-Center (2.1 km), on the main road
to the left of the crossroad to the cableway.
The nearest post office is located in
Malcesine-Center (1.9 km) on the main road,
on the opposite side of the central bus
station (a few meters before the roundabout).
Do you sell stamps
and postcards in the hotel?
Yes, you can find hotel ‘s postcards and
stamps at the hotel.
You also can leave your mail at the
reception; we will deliver it to the postman
(within 12.00 the same day, except Sundays).
How far is the
nearest bank or ATM?
At about 200 meters away on the main road,
there is a bank opened on Monday, Wednesday
and Friday mornings with an ATM working 24h.
Other banks are located in Malcesine.
Do you change
traveler's checks?
No, this kind of service is not available in
the hotel.
How far is the
first gasoline station?
Going north about 2 km (center of Malcesine)
or going south 4 km (town of Porto).
How far is the
nearest hospital?
We have a first aid medical emergency centre
at the Orthopaedic Surgery Institute of
Malcesine just 200 meters from the hotel.
How far is the
beach?
The hotel is directly on the beach attached.
Just walk down the few steps that connect
the terrace to the garden outside.
Is the beach
private?
No, in Malcesine the beaches are public.
Do you accept dogs?
No, unfortunately your four-legged friends
are not accepted in this hotel.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have a large outdoor parking lot and
a garage with 12 parking spaces available
for free.
In addition there is an area in the back of
the garage to store mountain bikes,
surfboards and other equipment.
Is there a luggage
storage?
Yes, we have a place to store your luggage
in case the room is not yet available upon
arrival or in case you need to leave the
room the day of departure but still want to
enjoy the other amenities before leaving in
the late afternoon or early evening hours.
Is there an
Internet service inside the Hotel? And in
the rooms?
Yes, the lobby has an Internet point.
Yes, most rooms can connect with cable (available
from Reception) to the hotel's ADSL network.
The service has a time rate.
Is there a
babysitting service?
No, this kind of service is not available in
the hotel.
Is there a spa?
We don’t have a spa into the hotel, but we
are affiliated to the Aesthetic Center
Delilah about 200 meters from the hotel for
massages, face and body treatments etc.
Is there a sauna?
And a whirpool?
Yes, there is a sauna and a whirlpool.
Both services are free but must be booked at
the reception.
Is there a gym?
Yes, we have a small but well equipped
fitness room.
Is there a pool?
And are sun loungers and umbrellas free?
Yes, our garden has a pool (12 x 7 meters
width, depth 1.30 m) heated in the cooler
months (about 24 to 26 ° C) with a private
Jacuzzi and a reserved area for children.
Sun loungers and umbrellas are free at your
disposal all around.
Do you have a lift
in the hotel?
Yes, we have two lifts, one of them is large
and adequate to carry strollers or people in
wheelchairs.
Please be reminded that, for security
reasons, unaccompanied children are not
allowed to use the lift.
How many floors
does the hotel have?
The building has 5 floors (basement, ground
floor, first, second and third floor) all
accessible by stairs and lift.
What can I do
during my vacation?
Inside the hotel there is: a reading room
with magazines, books (in Italian, English
and German) and games (eg. playing cards,
checkers, chess, back-gamon etc.), TV room,
billiard room, table-tennis, solarium,
sauna, Jacuzzi, relaxation area and fitness
room.
Offered outdoors we have a heated pool area,
with loungers and umbrellas, terrace,
jacuzzi, darts, table tennis and paddle
boats.
Near by there are tennis courts (150 meters),
sailing, surfing, kite and other sports
school (150 meters), a beauty centre with
massages and body treatments (150 meters),
lake and trails walks.
In Malcesine there is also mini-golf,
football, basketball, beach volleyball,
water sports centre with gym, paragliding
landing zone.
We are the ideal starting point for several
excursions: walking along the lake or
mountain, trekking, climbing and mountain
biking up Mount Baldo-Botanical Garden of
Europe (thanks to Cable car), boat trips,
visits of the various little towns/villages
of the lake with their colourful markets,
the majestic castles, lot’s of churches,
typical museums (oil, wine, fauna and
flora), beautiful cities (the most famous
Verona, Venice, Mantova), food and wine
tours (Valpolicella wine area, Lessinia
Mountains, inland Garda Lake), amusement
parks (the most famous are Gardaland, Caneva
World, Movieland), natural parks (the most
famous Animal Park Natura Viva Sea-Life
Park, Garden Sigurtà, the Italian Vittoriale,
waterfalls Varone) and more.

We always prefer something written at the
time of booking, which will be bond only
after our confirmation.
What dates should I
give to book my holiday?
You must always specify the day of arrival (actual)
and the day of departure (actual), thereby
avoiding any kind of misunderstanding.
When can I consider
my reservation valid?
The reservation is valid upon reception of
our confirmation validating arrival of the
deposit or receipt of credit card data as
guarantee.
Can I book only one
night?
Yes, you can.
An additional 10% of the rack rates will be
add, since the minimum stay is generally
three nights.
Have you got single
rooms?
No, all hotel rooms are doubles, but we also
offer them also for single use to particular
rate.
How much do
children pay? Does a baby that sleeps in bed
with his parents pay anyway?
Children from 0 to 3 years are charged 30.-
Euro per day regardless of whether they
sleep in the parents’ bed, in a crib taken
from home or in a children’s high-bar bed
available at the hotel.
Children sharing parents' room (or two
persons paying full price) and are of age
between 4 and 8 have a 30% discount on the
rack rates.
Children sharing the room with parents (or
two persons paying full price) and are over
the age of 9, have a 20% discount on the
rack rate.

Is It possible to
add a third bed in the room? And a fourth?
Yes, in almost all rooms you can use the
sofa as extra bed, so make a request at the
time of booking.
In some rooms the sofa is double so it can
become an extra double bed.
Do you need a
deposit to reserve a room?
Yes, to confirm a reservation a deposit is
required by bank transfer or charge of
Credit card (Visa and Mastercard only
accepted).
We calculate the amount to be paid according
to length of stay and number of people. It
is generally 150 Euro per person.
If time for this procedure is not enough, we
will proceed to request credit card
information to guarantee the reservation.

Do you accept
credit cards? And ATM?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard
as a guarantee for reservations and payments.
We accept ATM only for payment, not for
guarantee of the reservation.

Are the prices
intended per person or per room?
Prices are per person per day in Euro (with
two people paying for room) and they include
VAT, stay taxes and half pension treatment
wich is intended with buffet breakfast and a
four-course supper with a serve-yourself
salad bar. The drinks and other extras are
excluded.
Can I book a double
room for single use?
Yes, because there are no single rooms in
the hotel we offer our double rooms also for
sole use with a particular rate.
Can I book just bed
and breakfast?
Yes, you can always book what best suits you.
In low season (green and brown season) we
apply a reduced price of half board: less
EUR 12.- Euro per person per day.
On average season (blue and orange season)
we apply a reduced price of half board: less
EUR 10.- Euro per person per day.
In high season, no reductions are applied,
however you can still dine outside the hotel
if you wish (in that case we kindly ask you
to inform the reception).
When can I check
in? At what time can I have the room on
arrival day?
Rooms are generally available from 2.30 pm.
Check-in is made when the rooms are ready.
Of course you are welcome even early in the
morning and you can enjoy all the hotel
amenities (bar, restaurant, pool, etc.).
Should the room already be available upon
your arrival, you would have immediate
access right after check-in.
For organizational purposes, please advise
us beforehand if you plan to arrive after
18.00 .
What happens if I
arrive late at the hotel?
The room is reserved for you until 18.00.
The kitchen is open until 21:00 in order to
offer dinner to those who arrive also in the
beginning of the evening.
If you arrive later, please contact our
reception at +39 045 74 00 108 to notify and
make arrangements.
And if I arrive
later than the dates I booked?
In case of later arrival we are confident in
your understanding that we require the
payment for the nights we were not able to
re-sell the room.

What do I need to
check in? Do I need a credit card?
You need a valid document such as passports,
identity cards or driving licenses for each
person staying in the hotel.
A credit card is required only if you have
arrived without a written booking in advance.
No payment is required in advance, but you
can pay the room upon arrival if best
suitable for you.
Is it possible to
pay up our room upon arrival?
Yes you can.
Furtheremore if the payment is done in cash
you get a 2.5% discount on the price of the
room
Why should I leave
my documents at the reception on arrival?
The registration upon arrival is a procedure
required by Italian law.
To speed up this procedure, you are kindly
requested to sign the registration schedule
and give us a valid document (identity card,
passport or driving license) for each person
accommodating in our hotel room.
In this way you will not waste time
completeting the form but go directly to
your room.
You can collect your documents after a while
or in the evening after the staff has
registered all the required data for you
Does the card room
open the entrance of the hotel doors?
No, the card for the room does not open
gates, the garage or the front door, which
is done only by the receptionist or night
porter.
Therefore, in case of late arrivals or
returns (after midnight) or early morning
departures (before seven o’clock am) you are
requested to advise the reception and make
arrangements in advance.
What happens if I
lose my card?
We can make a duplicate of your card at any
moment for the room.
In case of loss, please notify us
immediately in order to block unwanted
access to your room and hand you a brand new
card.
An extra 10 Euro fee will be charged for
each lost or unreturned card.
When is the check
out usually done?
The final paymenis are usually done the
morning of departure by 11.00 am.
The office opens at 8.00 am.
In case you need to leave early, please
advise us and you can pay your bill the
previous evening (between 17.00 and 19.00 or
after dinner between 21.00 and 21.30) and
check out at the time you require.
What happens if I
leave before the dates I booked?
In case of early departure we are confident
in your understanding that full payment is
required for all nights booked by you, as we
are uncertain the room will be re-rented for
those days again.
On departure day,
at what time must I leave the room?
On the day of departure the room must be
vacated by 11.00 am to prepare for the next
guests.
If you want to stay till the evening, we
will be happy to keep your luggage on
deposit and provide you with common services
and give you the chance to shower and change
before actual departure.
You can stay in the hotel and enjoy the
various services (parking, bar, restaurant,
pool and garden, etc.).
What is custom for
tipping?
Tips are welcomed, but not an obligation; it
is usually just a "thank you" for a good
service.
The easiest way is to tip at the reception
when paying the final bill.
Some people prefer rewarding only one part
of the service and are free to do so: for
the restaurant and bar you can leave your
tips in the appropriate piggy bank situated
in the restaurant; for the kitchen, you can
leave a sum at the reception desk specifying
the recipients, for the room-maids you can
leave the desired amount on the desk in the
bedroom.
You can also "reward" one person in
particular by giving him or her the tip
