Our Manager and owner, Mr. Siegfried "Heinz"
Bonell, has an excellent knowledge of good
food, superb wines and spirits and
recognizes that eating well does not simply
mean eating a lot, but rather consciously
savouring what you eat and drink.
The Val di Sogno Hotel offers the
convenience of half board to fit the needs
of most of our customers: a good hearty
breakfast buffet to start the day off with
zeal and energy followed by a quiet dinner,
served in a spacious, bright and airy dining
room with windows overlooking the garden and
lake, culminating the evening on the terrace
or at the bar, sipping an after-dinner
drink, while perhaps listening to the
traditional melodies played on the piano and
enchanted by the starry sky of the Garda
Lake.
However, we should certainly not forget to
take the opportunity to enjoy an excellent
lunch either in a heated room on the coldest
days or on the terrace as soon as the sun
and the Mediterranean climate permit. Our ŕ
la carte restaurant offers simple and tasty
dishes to suit every appetite.
The central bar is also open daily for
coffee, snacks, delicious cakes, refreshing
ice cream, thirst-quenching beverages,
cocktails, before dinner aperitifs, and
